SOLD NICE Custom .45 Longrifle

I know that inflation is hitting folks where it hurts. Any of the rifles I have up I can do a payment plan. No additional $.
This is a really sweet light .45 longrifle. Its 37" Green Mountain barrel has a great textured brown finish, excellent bore and 1:72 twist, best I can tell. The nicely figured Maple stock is brass fitted. Patchbox, buttplate and nosecap are engraved. LOP is 14.5". Gun weighs a wispy 7 lbs and balances just behind its full buckhorn rear sight. Should be a joy to carry and shoot. $950 + Shipping.

No, but it has a light release.

That’s a beautiful rifle- looking very nicely carved and engraved and looks quite Classic! One wonders how the front sight was installed backwards, but an easy fix. If I was looking for a cap lock rifle, this would be it!!!

I have run into a few shooters who do this on purpose. Could be an aesthetic, or maybe their eyes work well with that. It sights real well as is setting top of blade in rear notch.
