Nipples for Pedersoli Rifle ?

Howdy, Just finished building a PK3315 Pedersoli Scout Carbine Kit .50 Caliber Percussion. Wanted to get some replacement nipples. The literature that came with the kit did not specify what size or thread. Hoping someone can help me out.

I would pull it and head down to ace hardware and verify size and thread in their nut selection, but need to order a nipple wrench.

Get in touch with Dixie Gun Works in TN. It should be the standard 1/4 X 28 thread which is the Dixie part number of 1365 I believe. Just call them and they will help you.

Pedersoli flintlock barrels I have take metric liners. Pedersoli caplocks I have take 1/4-28 nipples. I am sure there are exceptions. Always are.

I finally received a reply from Pedersoli. Looks like it take 1/4-28 nipple.

I have an unbreeched Pedersoli barrel and checking the threads it has American Standard threads. Wonder if that's done specifically for the US market?

That's a good possibility.

I would have bet they would have been metric coming from Italy.

Guess I would have lost that bet.
