I was on the phone with John Buck the other day and he's working on pulling together the first NMLRA Matchlock Shoot.

For those of you unfamilar with the NMLRA, that's the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association.

Some of the questions I was asked to put forth are:

At What weight or barrel length determines the legal use of a fork rest?

Should fork rested guns have their own class?

What would constitute an aggregate?

Date hasn't been set yet.

All suggestions welcomed, just keep it simple.

The shoot is on for April 1st & 2nd. To John's surprise, the NMLRA jumped on board quickly. He was thinking of a fall, October event. So, it probably will be a small turn out for this year. There is a movement to create a Mid Atalantic Team. Interest has been expressed by individuals on New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland.
