TC made a lot of different sidelocks without a cheekpiece, but I've never heard of a Hawken without one...maybe some other folks have
 
call T/C and give them the ser# and they should be able to tell ya when it was made....post a picture if ya can.............bob
 
Does the TC Hawken your speaking of have a serial number that begins with the letter K?

If it does, it was a Kit gun, built by someone who didn't want a cheekpiece on his gun.

Just a thought. :)
 
Some Senecas were marked Hawken and had a very slight cheekpiece that was more similar to a Tennessee style than the Hawken beavertail cheek piece.
