Took a nice buck today. He was about 40 yards away, ran about 20 yards and piled up. Used my 20 ga. trade gun. Hit him right at the point of his left shoulder, came out his ribs on his right side. 75 gr. 3fg, .60 wonderlubed pillow tick patch cut at the muzzle. I was calm for the shot, but hands were shaking so bad after I could hardly reload

Hard to tell how many points. It only has 3 points now, but one antler is broken off, and at least one point is broken off of the side that is left. Can't even guess at the weight, but I know he is heavy.

Well now you have to change your handle--to some deer! God bless, congrats, good smoke, ron in FL

Congrats on the buck! :hatsoff:
Now the other, smaller bucks can breathe a sigh of relief that he won't be around kickin' their butts all the time. Looks like he was a real fighter.

Nice! Guess we know what's for dinner. What time do we show up? Hee Hee

Congrats on the buck!

HUZZAH! But now you've got to change your business cards and letterhead.

Does he have a gray muzzle and worn teeth? Looks like a scrapper for sure. When our local whitetail get on in years their racks start to look like that. Not enough nutrients and too much stress from trying to hold the ladies attentions.
