If you want to mount a scope on your ML but you don't want to lower it's value by drilling and tapping the barrel look up Dr. Pearson's great idea.

The old TC bases that used the same holes as the factory rear sights, I've threatened to JB Weld one on at the right eye relief for a scout / pistol scope.

Well found out some info on that No-drill rail system. They said I shouldn't put a sight on it heavier then 4oz which rules out 99% of all rifle scopes and red dots. So I either stick with my non-adjustable fabricated rear peep sigh and front blade sight or have a gunsmith drill and tap the barrel on my CVA Bobcat and then attach a picatinny and scope

I've decided to connect a gunsmith to see when I can take my CVA Bobcat to them and have them drill and tap my barrels. I've also found a Hammers Premium Class Long Eye Relief Revolver Handgun Scout Scope 2-7X32 Black with Weaver rings and just need to get a 13 slot picatinny rail
