Noae cap preference

On a SMR do you prefer or not a nose cap.
It would be plain steel to match all the other furniture?

There is a photo out there someplace…that shows just what you’re talking about. Personally I think it really adds something to the look of the rifle.

SMR had none, iron, brass,silver,horn, copper, and bone.

Agree with @tenngun, if your building a true SMR there is no nose cap. But it’s your gun, you can certainly put one on if you choose.
