Does any one here have or have seen a NSW trade pistol? Is the kit easy to put together? Is the finished version worth the price? Are they heavy.......etc?

Thank you kindly
P

I want one of their pistols. I am in the final stages of building one of their Northwest Trade Guns. The quality of the parts is great! In fact the parts are really too nice for me to be messing with them. The stock was partially inletted for the barrel, lock and ramrod. Everything was laid out correctly. I feel sure that the pistol would be of the same quality.

Well, I have one but it isn't NSW....it's one I got from Curly Gostomsky back in 1982. I really can't remember much about the building part, but seem to recall it wasn't a typical "kit" where you just screw parts together and apply finish. I do remember that there were NO instructions whatsoever, not even a picture of the completed gun. Of course, the price was a bit less back then.....
