Whose planning on going to the rondy? It is Pawlet VT again this year. If it is at the same sight it was at a few years ago it iwll be a nice sight. Plan on getting there on Saturday and leaving late in the week.

Runs from July 22nd to , I beleive, July 29th. Go to NMLRA.org for more info. It is a decent rondy that has grown quite a bit over the years. Rules get somewhat lax at times as with other NMLRA rondys I have been to, but overall I would say it is a good rondy.

tell me more when is it?

I was just up there yesterday. Bruce the booshway has done a great job setting up and promises a good time for all.

Lot's of competitive shooting, archery, edged weapons and games for all. For the past few years the NEPR has favored a great set of Scottish games mid-week, camp feast and entertainment. Surely there will be something for all of us. At last count 20 suttlers have pre-registered!

July 22 through to July 30.

We hope to see you all there!!!

From what I have heard the attendance at the Northeastern Regional has also been on the rise as of late (as in the last few years or so). That is always encouraging, although I don't believe that it is approaching the monstrous size of the Eastern.

NEPR retains the wonderful flavor of a small personal event that folks can feel ownership in. Yes we have gotten larger over the years but certainly not anywhere near like the "Eastern". Lot's of fun, beautiful scenery, good neighbors and friends, excellent competition. Come on out and give this event a try.

NEPR is an easy drive from most of the northeast. You won't be sorry.

Jester, Is the site at the same place it was the last time it was in Vt.? My wife is wondering if there is any place to swim. The last time it was in Vt there was a spring fed stream that was deep enough to take a dip in. It was quite "brisk".

Rabbit,

The location is the same as the last Pawlet vous. Directions are on the website.

You have to get in your wagon and go off the hill and down to the Mettowee River to get good swimming. I'm told swimming is good there. There is a small stream up on the hill that will definately cool you off and get you clean, but not swim in.

Jester
