Northern Nevada Rondys?

Well it looks like I will be moving to Northern Nevada (Elko'ish area). I was wondering if any of you folks are up in that area if you could let me know where some shoots and rondy's are. Maybe even some good places to hunt (anything) with my flinter. I'm looking forward to doing some horse treks in the Ruby Wilderness!!

There us to be several in Utah, and the drive from Elko to SLC Area is really not a bad one.

The only two Northern Nevada clubs I am aware of will probably be too far from the Elko area.

Lakes Crossing Muzzleloaders out of the Reno area http://lakescrossingmuzzleloaders.org/about.html

Eagle Valley Muzzleloaders out of the Carson City area http://eaglevalleymuzzleloaders.org/

Their is also a "rendezvous" in downtown Carson City at a park that is more of a living history event. No real shooting as far as I know.

You might contact the above clubs and ask if they have any information on Elko area clubs and events.

Hopefully another MLF member will have more information.

Ogden use the have them. Small one but still good at Ft. Buenaventura in the middle of town.

Nice little rondy out of Las Vegas weekend of vets. day in Nov. at spring mt. st. park. Good bunch a folks. Chk SMFT.org for info.

They still have a couple in Utah, have a couple of mates away at the Rocky Mountain Rondy, and will ask when they get back.

Big Rondy at Ft. Bridger not far from SLC on labor day.Wyo.

There used to be one in Jackpot Nevada/Idaho back when I lived in NE Oregon. Does anyone know about that one?
