Well it seems I've done it again.

I've fallen in like with the Officer's Model Musket from Northstar West and am considering ordering it as a kit.

However, this would be my 1st build and while I have some woodworking experience and therefore some confidence in that ability, I have no experience working with metal. Consequently I'm not sure ordering this kit is necessarily a good idea and I need a little advice.

To those of you with both building experience and Northstar West kits, would you recommend this kit as a 1st build?

Thanks,
Rick
