It is really heartwarming to see Old Glory flown by another country, and not having it burned or spit on.

Honest - I am all welled up as I type this. I really am. ::

Thank you and God Bless New Zealand!

What kind of creature/animal is that on your head?

Smokepole: It's a wallaby. My possibles bag is made from a wallaby skin too. The flat is the face of the animal and the teddy bear eyes hold it closed. How did you get the picture to appear? I followed the instructions putting fore and aft and it didn't work so I resorted to the above. Maybe it's Greybeards?

Thanks all for the kind words but the flags are in keeping with the theme and it seems only appropriate. Hell, if we had an Irish v Thailand theme we would fly their flags too. :)

Thanks... It looked kinda like a 'possom, but cool nonetheless.

As for the picture, I tried to post it from the link you have above but I couldn't get it to work. So I saved the picture of my computer and uploaded it to my photobucket account and did it from there.

Note to everyone... If there is something on the internet that you want everyone to see.

Just put your mouse on the picture, and right mouse click.
Scroll down to properties, and click it.
Where it says "address/url", highlight it, then right mouse click and "copy"
Then on the Forum look in the box next to all the smilie and click "Image".
A box will appear, right mouse click in the box and "paste" the "address/url" of the picture you want everyone to see.

Just a little tip from me to all the fine members of the Forum.

Rollinb: Bit embracing  actually; I cleaned up against the cap boys. I was the only one shooting a flinter.

Great pics Jeff, and if you can re-enact American Frontiersman way down there in New Zeland, I don't feel so bad acting like a Brit soldier here in the U.S.A.
Wonderful to see Ol Glory flying proud down there!!
How could you ever shoot a Wallaby??? Aren't they supposed to be cute or something? :shocking:

Now I gotta get me a Wallaby Sporran!!
:redthumb:

Great pics. It is nice to see our flag flying in other lands and not being burned.
Do you ever reanact New Zealand history? I know, think, you didn't have an event like the Civil War, thank goodness, to reanact.

Keith:
We should do more local history but yours in 1) more interesting in some ways, 2) the gear is more readily available, 3) we are still be punished for our history so it's not history yet........HAHA.
