October is by far my favorite month of the year. Not only is it my birthday month, but hunting season starts in earnest. I too enjoy those cool fall mornings with the scent of blackpowder hanging in the air. I only wish October could be longer.

October first is our Archery Deer opener - I will be in the stand with my Recurve - BP is neatly stored away for now (Guns in the safe, powder and balls in the "separate" locked cabinet - this is Canada after all Eh!).
