Hi Guys,
So I'm now about six months in to muzzleloading and today aquired my second Smokepole, a mint unfired GPR in .50
The guy was actually using it as a wallhanger!! Really wanted a .54 but this one came along, so swapped for a boring Centerfire... :haha:
Hope this question has not been asked, but does anyone else find the Lyman Buttplate corners "sharp" on the shoulder? Maybe theres a simple modification you experienced Hawken Shooters do or use for the sake of comfort.
Incidently, when loading I've been resting the crescent buttplate of the T/C on my foot to minimise ground damage caused by loading- is this common practice? Works, but I want to get better..
Thanks!
