Caught the tale end of this on PBS a little while ago. Anyone ever been? from what little i've seen sounds pretty interesting.

I used to go to Malabar,a dog and pony show but always fun! Don't look good this year either with everything else goin on in september!

Thanks guys

Last event of any kind I went to was the Paul Bunyan Festival/show in Nelsonville a few years ago when I attended hocking college. Iteresting but I have been to better.

The free freshly made cider was good tho.

they set up a live fire range in the buckskinner camp about 20-25 yards. Shopfer usually donates powder + lead and a few small gongs maybe 8" or so. No contest just do demonstrations for the flatlanders.Well that gets old pretty quick so we usta find bottle caps and hazelnuts and put 'em on a stick, then it gets interesting! I'll be going I think if nothing else gets in the way, its a great place to mess with flatlanders and look at "eye candy" Usually have a hawk block too and I believe its still free to set up your camp but get some wood locally, they do not supply much.
