Old Briwax

I opened an old can of Briwax and found it to be solidified into one big chunk. Can I add anything to it or should I just get a fresh can?

Take a small chunk and add some mineral spirits and see if that softens it up. Nit much to lose if it doesn’t work!

Warming it up, too, should help soften it, and make it easier to mix in the mineral spirits.

Do not warm directly on the stove eye. put an inch or so f water in a sauce pan, bring it to a boil, remove the pan from eye, place the wax in the hot water, pour maybe 10% min spirits in, stir until well mixed. If it solidifies before mixing leave wax in pan and reheat but keep below a boil and as it as the wax begins to melt stir, remove, cool, use.

I added the mineral spirits and warmed it up some. It is now useable. Thanks for the help guys.
