I had one of these front sights, yeeeears ago on a NW trade gun. I bought it at a rondy some where. Does anyone know anyone making them and what time period would they fit into [if any]? I would like to get another one. Doc

I found plenty of turtles and beavers, but no faces. :(

Claude;
This has been at least 15 years ago and have'nt seen them since. They may have been a speciality item someone had cast them selves. Any way they where well done and you don't see them very often.

I think Mike Lea has something like it. A face with a big nose for the front sight that solders to a round barrel. He advertises in Muzzle Blasts.

Many Klatch

Thats what I'm looking for. I don't get muzzle blast and I tried their online classifieds which didn't open. I'll keep looking for his contact. In the mean time if anyone has Mike Lea's web sight or phone number that would help. Thanks Doc

I think Tip Curtis might have them...I've seen them at Friendship recently.
