I wasn't sure where to put this post. I have been a member (#351) since Sept. '03. My last post was 9/04 and I am posting this so that I don't get dropped from membership. Wow! I can't believe there are over 4800 members of this forum. That's 4500 in the two years since I joined. That's a great tribute to the quality of the forum, the dedicated members, and especially to the moderators who expend the effort to maintain a first class forum. As I said in my bio, my interests are divided between muzzleloading and car restoration. For the last year, I have concentrated on the bodywork and painting of my 1951 Ford Victoria. It is just at the point of being ready for reassembly so it will probably be a while until I get hot and heavy into muzzleloading again. Also, the fellow on whose property I shoot just sold it, so, unless I can convince the new owner to let me continue to shoot there, I'm temporarily just a gun collector. The local shooting ranges all have long waiting lists and are more than 25 miles away, so that's not a favorable option. It's good to see some names I know, like claude, zonie, musketman and others still active. Every now and then I read some of the posts just to keep in touch. I bought that Traditions .50 cal percussion pistol kit but it is so crude, I haven't tried to assemble it. This is the best muzzleloading forum I know of so keep up the good work and I'll post more when I finish my car and get back into front stuffers. And I will be back. just read my signature.
