My Becky and I will be there. Going to set up a day early (due to the fact I've got too much plunder to get it done in an hours time).
Dave Guy and Daniel Cain are good guys, it should be a good event this year.
Look for a wall tent that has a yellow Coht flag and a black with white lettering "Ivory Mountain" flag. My Becky is the pretty dark haired one, I look like a lawn gnome

 lawn gnome. excellent description wart. you know me! adam from the trail. heck i camped next to ya the year you had yer heart surgery.

Y'know, the folks that ran the event were good people, the wood and water was fine, but the SITE!!!! While I realize that it is hard to find land, the parking lot would have been a better site, even next to the road. The ambiance was provided by the 1.5 old house trailers, one half of which still had clothes in the closet, old motor homes, and a dozen or so old cars and trucks within a hundred feet or so of the camp, right in the open, and at the main gate, another mobile home complete with satelite dish and a barn collapsing!!! While I have always maintained that a rendezvous could be held in a Kmart parking lot and by Wednesday everyone would be having a good time, this was a National event, and I thought that site approval was part of the plan!!! There had to be better ground nearby, and there is always State land to look into. I know that the staff underwent some drastic changes in mid-stream, but this ground was pretty bad for a "National", and shouldn't have gotten a second look from the Foundation!!!

you're right about the site. a better one could have been found. the parking lot WOULD have been a better site. hats off to dave and sheila though for a wonderful vous despite the a-hole next door who decided to start a friggin junk yard 2 weeks before the rondyvu started. the barn and trailer might have not been nearly as noticed if not for the old ratty cars and trucks that the fella next to the site carted in! the heat was KILLER!!! the staff had a fire truck come in and they set up a portable pond to swim in for the afternoon. not pc, but very appreciated! I had a great time for the small amount that I was there. next year's onw is in medina area i believe. lookin forward to it.
