Old round ball moulds

Gentlemen,
Does anybody know a source for old Lyman Ideal round ball moulds other than gunshows and antique shops?
Looking for some of the unique caliber/sizes from the 1940's/50's/60's(I have an old Lyman book from 1958, you wouldn't believe the different RB diameters!).
I'm trying to break into the world of "odd caliber" muzzleloaders. I have two .52 cal. rifles and thinking about possibly a .42 or .48 cal. project(or both!). Once I get the barrelmaker commited, I then need to find the proper round ball mould and since companys like Rapine will NOT do custom work unless you order 200 units, I have to find old, obsolete moulds like Lyman Ideal.
So, the search starts.

Dixie Gun Works will provide their simple RB mold in any caliber from .20 to .80. It's not pretty, but it works. You can check them out on-line. Most of the used Lymans I have encountered at shows have been standard calibers.

 

LBT or Whomever is making those moulds now will make any custom dia. wanted in rifle or pistol bullets. NEI is another source of custom moulds and odd size RB moulds. Check them out, I'm certain they have a web site.
; As well, there's that English Chap who makes custom sizes moulds without sprue cutters. I must admit I prefer moulds that do have sprue cutters and own many single, double and multi cal Lyman moulds, RCBS and some Lee. These are pistol bullets, rifle bullets and roundballs for ML's. The Lyman moulds outnumber the others combined.

I have seen molds for sale on e-bay before...

Also try gun shops, they sometimes stick things that are not selling on back room shelves for years...

Older rod and gun clubs may produce some leads as well, this forum has a FREE classified ads section, place a wanted ad there...

Lastly, you could place an ad in a few papers or black powder magazines, will be seen by multitudes of people looking to make a few bucks off of grandpa's old stuff...
