old underhammer bore

h&a 58 cal underhammer, probably 30 yrs dirty. Was de-blueing because I like Browned metal, and ran a patch soaked in de-blueing solution through the bore ( grooves were baked on black that would not scrub out) and Bingo! now I have a shiny clean barrel inside and out. Wonder if anyone else has thoughts on this? :shocked2:

They probably blued the inside of the barrel.
