Olympics

Olympics time again.

Once more my choices are swimming, gym, Track and field, tatooed hoodlems playing basket ball, BADMITTON, equsterian events, sand vollyball.

It seems athletes come up with one single interview reply, in junior high, that they use any time a microphone is shoved in their face.

reporter: Your head fell off and they put it on backward. Did you know blood is squirting from your eyes whem you blink?"

athlete: Yea, I was really pumped up for this one! I was really focused and giving 110% but in spite of the fact that I'm more important than God this was really a team effort!"

How about olympic skeet, trap, rapid fire pistol, running boar matches, long range rifle and free pistol matches, even air rifle and pistol?

Not one single national reporter has acknowledged the existance of shooting events as part of the olympic tradition. We could win 50 gold medals in shooting sports and the media would ignore the athletes and events.

I don't disagree, but you're probably telling the wrong people...you might want to fire off memos to the news agencies, Olympic committee, etc, etc

I don't think the news media would even acknowledge they recieved the letter.

After all, THEY already know that things like guns, bows & arrows, knives and swords are the tools of the devil. They only exist to cause pain and suffering and have no good reason for being except to give gratification to the mentally ill.
Using this common knowledge, why would any rational person want to see events featuring these weapons?
