Rare and desirable Colt Root sidehammer revolver in .28 cal, made in 1859 5 years before Colt Factory fire.
Revolver operates properly goes in to half cock and full cock like it should, cylinder also rotates and locks correctly. Nipples look good, no broken once. Bore looks shootable.
There's about 75% of cylinder scene still visible along with Patent Number. Barrel got clear Colt address stamping.. About 35% bluing still on the gun along with some patina.
Only down part is that loading lever appears to be stuck but I guess this could be easily be fixed by few drops of Kroil/BP Blast/WD40 what ever you like ....
