SOLD Original Powder Horn

Selling what I am told is an original horn. Very nice aged patina and twist is for a left-side carry.
Plug is pegged and all pegs are present and the plug is tight.
Measured along the curve, it is about 12 3/4" from the base of the plug to tip. Measured at the base of the plug the diameter is 2 3/8", circumference is 7 5/8".

There is no stopper, and the horn does have a 'rattle'. There is what sounds like one small piece of something on the inside. Whatever it is, won't shake out so the plug would have to be removed in order to remove the object.

Can the knob be unscrewed? You may gain insight to its age by looking under the knob and the stud its threaded onto.

The knob definitely looks to be a separate piece from the plug and is well attached.
I didn't want to try and turn, unscrew, etc it's removal for fear of breaking it.
