Top barrel flat inscription reads:
Patent Sept 14 1858
E. Remington & Sons Ilion New York USA
New Model

The serial number 62523 is stamped on the grip frame and on the barrel bottom flat.
There is a “W” stamped on the frame, also a “T”.
On the barrel and trigger guard there is a stamped “L”.
The cylinder does not advance when the hammer is cocked. Everything else functions.
The gun was made 1865/1866.
Here is what an appraiser said:

“I could see this gun with an auction estimate of between $ 1200 to $ 2000. The damage on the cylinder is problematic unfortunately, some grip issues as well, am not sure they are original. But it is a nice nice gun”.

I am asking $1200 shipped. Money Order, Cashiers Check preferred.

Please show damage to the cylinder & show or describe bore condition.
