REDUCED. Someone put a lot of work turning a fairly inexpensive Spanish 12mm percussion pistol into a work of art. The first photo shows what it started out as. The 10" barrel has 100% coverage of deep chisel and punch engraving. I believe the grips were checkered, but appear to have been enhanced. Four ornate upholstery tacks had been added, but only two rear ones remain. Easy to replace. The bead front sight has been replaced with a brass blade in dovetail. The hole for original pin extends into bore near muzzle. An ornate finial has been added to butt. Triggerguard is engraved and a light finger guard has been added, which can be easily removed. A belt hook has been added, apparently made from a small silver spoon! Bore is bright and sharp. Clearly a one of a kind pistol. $190 + Shipping.

I also do not understand why there would be a hole in the barrel. The post says “The hole for original pin extends into bore near muzzle.”. What pin is this and why would the hole extend into the bore. Is this a sloppy mistake or is there some purpose for this?

As noted in ad, the original front sight was a pinned bead, like a shotgun front sight. Those holes typically go through into the bore with no ill effects. I believe it to be a non-issue.

Belt hook fashion from a spoon? Stainless steel?
