Anyone shed any light on these markings on an Ottoman Kurbur type pistol. I'm thinking maker marks.

Hi Dave

My first guess would be a maker's mark. But in the case of these Kubur pistols the barrel may be an export with the stamps added later. This type of "fudging" was often done. Photos of the pistol itself might give us some more clues. Trouble is, even if the marks could be translated, it's unlikely it could be traced back to one of the many small shops in the Balkans.
