Is this the same company? my local store carries BP accessories (patches, wads, etc) by Muzzleloader Originals. However, on the web, most BP sites talk about Ox-Yoke Originals...

Packaging looks similar.

I ordered some Ox-Yoke revolver wads from TotW today, but I already have a bag of wads from Muzzleloader Originals from my local store. Just wondering if its really the same thing or not.

"Muzzleloader Originals" is a company operated by "Southern Bloomer Company" in Bristol, Tenn...different company from Oxyoke Originals.

I bought a few bags of their .40cal prelubed patches last year and the couple hundred I've used so far worked fine...I assume the wads would as well.

I believe Ox-Yoke Originals went out of business a year or more ago. They were in Connecticut.
I also heard a rumor that the employees got together and bought the company but I'm not sure if that is true or not.

Muzzleloader Originals is in Tennessee. It is associated with Southern Bloomer Mfg Co. which is the company that has made the cleaning patches I've used for years.

ok thanks. It's just that my local store carries Muzzleloader Originals stuff, and sometimes its convenient to pick up stuff there, since I go there a lot for bullets, powder, etc for my modern guns.

Didn't know if Ox-Yoke was worth getting. However, the online prices of ox-yoke seem much better than the local store price for Muzzleloader Originals. A bag of 100 .44 revolver wads by M.O. at my store is $5.99.

Oh yeah, on my receipt for the Muzzleloader Originals wads, it shows "Ox-wonder". That's why I thought it may be the same company.

Ox Yoke originals is now owned by RMC Sports, you can visit their retail store in Mingoville, pa or on the web at rmcsports.com

Some employees started a new company in Maine, called EMSS...Eastern Maine Shooting Supplies.

As was mentioned, RMC owns the old Oxyoke company.

When I bought those 1000 .40cal Muzzleloader Original prelubed patches, I ordered direct from them at Southern Bloomer and it was less than $3.00/100 as I recall...$2.95, etc

Ox yoke orginals was bought up by RMC and they are still produceing the orginals products. Best place I know of to get felt wads to place under bullets. They also have lots of other products.
