Just under three weeks till opening on Fri.the 12th of June. Been talking on another forum about folks getting together to put faces to the names and sharing ideas, etc. I'm going to put together a scout sometime in July in the Sierra, everyone invited, we could throw together some dates that would work. The PPR is being held at my home club ground. We just finished a club rendevous which I booshwayed, was very well attended. We will be having another one in Oct. I will be at the PPR a couple of days before opening and can organize a meeting if any are interested. Pitch ideas for time and date and I'll get it posted where everyone can find it. Just finished marking one of the riding trails today and will get a couple more marked before the 12th. Horse camp is a great spot, so bring an animal if you can. Pre reg went well and this is expected to be a great one. The site is really beuatiful, plenty of shade and water. Wood everywhere. I'm not associated with the PPR but if I can answer any questions or help any way--holler.

A bump, 2 weeks from today, largest west coast event. 500 camps, 1000 folks, 30(or more) traders. See you there!

The event came off really well. Highs in the day about 75 to 85. One blanket nights. Almost 800 registered folks, nearly 400 camps. Great shoots, world class hawk and knife course and a challenging archery course that was also fun! The host club, The Sierra Muzzle Loaders will be having our fall rendevoux at the same site. I'm the booshway for the event on the 16, 17, 18 of Oct. I would encourage everyone to come, the site is incredible as I'm sure others will tell you!

Sounds like a great turnout.. do you know where PPR is going to be held next year?
