Palmetto Dixie M1855 Pistol

Anyone have experience with the .58 cal. percussion single-shot pistol with detached shoulder stock
that Dixie offers? It's been in the catalog for a number of years; It's not a totally accurate replica, but
looks pretty cool. Just wondering if anyone has one and had shot it.

The reviews don't look promising.....I almost got one a while back but picked up an Enfield "Musketoon" which in my opinion isn't much different than a pistol/carbine and more usable at the range

They appear kinda cheaply finished from what I've read about them
