I'm considering making up some paper charges/cartridges and I was curious how long they are good for. Now I'm sure how well they are cared for would naturally make all the difference, but assuming they are kept dry and carefully stored are they OK for a month or two, or should I make up a day or two's worth at a time?

Thanks

Are you talking about nitrated flammable style or paper like military musket cartridges.
I have no experience with nitrates paper, but plain paper will last a couple of centuries longer if it’s rag paper. Powder never goes bad.
