I am looking for a trigger, and trigger return spring for my 1862 Police.
I have checked the Uberti site, but apparently do not sell parts.
Does anybody know where I can get the parts that I need?
I sent an order to Dixie Gun Parts, and the parts don't even come close.
Best Regards

Old Ford

google VTI gunparts or Cimarron Arms. they keep a comprehensive stock of these parts.

This company has generally had any part I've needed for any of my smokewagons, from springs to cylinders and barrels. You've got to browse through .pdf catalogue files, but it's worth it. Good luck!

(PS: Lovin' the Sharps, mon ami!)

Howdy Folks,
I just want to let you know what happened to me.
I clicked on the above link and it took me to the VTI site, BUT my Norton Antivirus told me that I had just picked up a Trojan virus and repaired it.
Just FYI.
Lee :shocked2:

I tried it with no problem - I'm running Norton Anti-Virus 2006 with Auto-Protect enabled, current updates installed. What Trojan did it identify?

I had no problems with it either and I jus tried it again a couple of times! :hmm: :surrender:

Howdy,
I am running the same protection you are.
It was "JS.Downloader.Trojan".
Here is where my Norton directed me to go to check it out:

All I did was post what happened to me.
Sorry,
Lee

Lee,

Nothing to apologize for. You did the right thing.

Trojan type viruses are typically transmitted by email attachments. Getting one from visiting a web site would be most unusual. Symantec's message may have been the result of an earlier scan or an attempt at a blind attack and just coincidental with the access of the web site. At any rate, it never hurts to sound a warning.
