Looks great! Nice size & shape for a gutting knife as well.

Coil spring? Never heard of that attempted but it ought to be great quality steel. I have a leaf spring blade that is a good one.

Very nice I think that would make a real good skinning knife as well for field dressing Deer,it looks like you could lay your index finger on top of the blade and work very well inside the body cavity, very nice work there.
