I was wondering how accurate you would be after leaving your gun loaded a few days while hunting. I use moose milk. NAPA water soluble oil, Murphy

Even though it feels like it has dried out, the NAPA oil, and Murpheys oil soap will still be lubing. Your rifle should shoot pretty much the same. If you have time before your season starts, load your rifle and let it set over night and then fire it and see how it does. Then you won't have to worry about whether it is shooting where it is supposed to be shooting.

I agree. I leave patches soaked in my moose milk in loading blocks for weeks at a time. The water & alcohol evaporates and leaves the oils. If it worries you, drip in two drops of olive oil or NAPA w.s. oil (mineral oil) to refresh it and leave the muzzle pointed up.
