Well, I went to a pawn shop called The Gold Mine Gun an Pawn today at the advise of Stuartg. Well They had a nice selection of regular blackpowder stuff, I got a patch puller, and a .45 cal. button jag, and some targets. The best thing is they have regular Goex at $19.80 a pound and Swiss powder of all things at $30.00 a lb. all 2f through 4f, very good for retail prices in my book. I think next month I'll get some Swiss 4f for my prime. Might even pick some 3f for my .40 cal. and see what she does with it. Oh yea, they had no.11 and no.10 percussion caps at $5.49 a 100ct. I also scored 11 lbs. of lead from a tire shop I go to every couple of months. All in all it was a productive day.

Right on, man! I'm glad the drive was worth it.

By the way, many thanks for the hunk of red maple - looks beautiful!

Some days when the Sun Moon and planet's and the, will of the .man above all line up at once. Things are good.

PS go buy the lottery ticket

I might just make the drive, though its around 100+ miles to Florida to get some tickets :shake: :( Alabama is so backward we will be the last State to have a lottery :slap: .

You lucky duck!!!! Like Dicky said, you need to buy a lottery ticket while you are still hot.

Yep, they have more Traditional blackpowder stuff than the Bass Pro shop 2 miles away :shake: . They will be seeing me again soon.

Armakiller where is this shop located at? I would like to go there and stock up on powder. Alabama probably won't ever have a lottery because of Phenix City before the clean up occured in 1954.

It is in Daphne, Al. on Hwy 98. A bit far away if your over by Dothan, Al. Its still a good 30+ miles for me.

Their prices sound real good. Its hard to find a shop that sales traditional muzzleloading supplys. Next time I'm down that way I will check them out. Thanks

Hello Armakiller:
You came up with great information!
It would be great if many members here on this site would post good supply stores/vendors in all regions that we can have a good list of providers.
It would help those business to keep going, plus help us find what we need.
We all know black powder supplies are getting harder and harder to find.
Have a great day!
Fred

Glad to know this. I'm in Ocean Springs, Ms. and thought there was nowhere within 100 miles of here to get bp.
