8 months ago I went into a pawn shop here in town. They had 6 sidelocks all priced higher than what you could buy them for new,all of them dirty and rusty.Been stoppin in once in awhile to see if they might have had a gun RC was lookin for,Im sure he's not lookin for a dirty rusty gun. After buildin fence today I stopped into the same pawn shop, the same 6 dirty rusty sidelocks with even higher prices :shocked2: I told the owner if he dropped the prices and cleaned the guns they might sell.He said tourists will pay good money for a wall hanger and the rust makes them look old :shake: Sad thing is those guns could be out in the feild, but there just sittin on a rack rustin away :(

 Hey Crowhop; Send me the address of that pawn shop; ............ He might be interested in this :rotf: :rotf:

Did you ask him "If overpriced rusty guns sell so well, then why have these same guns been sitting here for months?"

That's when you look over the lot of them and pick the best one and follow up the question by saying
"Although in this condition it isn't worth it, I'll take this one off of your hands for $75."

Then again, if your luck is like mine he'd say "Sold". :rotf:

Crowhop, sure do appreciate lookin for that one! that's so sad those guns gettin wasted like that.. :hmm: maybe we could rough up the plastic and really brown up the barrels on those in line things,,,least they'd be good fer somethin..wall hangers! :rotf: keep yer eyes open,I'm pretty sure I got a convert in the works....takin his huntin course soon, and wants a gun, told him I'd fix him up...the right way! he seemed excited,he's comin up next weekend so we can shoot.....BP! :applause: THANKS!~ RC

Soggy & Crowhop your stuff looks more appropriate for the tourist trade. But then again most people's knowledge of what's PC is from the movies.I quess they will pay a pretty penny for the gun Robert Redford had in "Jeremiah Johnson". :rotf:

I know the feeling, I went to a pawn shop a few months back in Pensacola, close to where I live. The owner had a rusty cva Bobcat for 159.00!! I told her that I bought one new at wally world for 54.00. She asked me to leave....Sometimes you cant help people out...

That looks like one of them real old guns!! I'll give you a bid of $350.00
Is that an old in-line? :rotf:
