I have two 36 pedersoli advertised for sale. Yeah only been up for a day but very little interest compared to others post after me. Are these less desirable because of caliber? Or are they not undesirable? I don’t think my price is too unreasonable as we all know everyone offers you less than you are asking. One is a flint frontier deluxe flint and the other a frontier std cap. These were my dads and he never fired them and are part of 20 or so guns he gave me as he is not able to shoot anymore. Having trouble moving them . My dad seemed to be the purveyor of guns that were odd and hard to sell . Odd caliber and hunting rifles that we can’t use in our state. I have like 6 different cartridge rifles that are impossible to sell.

Your Pedersoli’s are good rifles. Not everybody desires a small caliber though. Sometimes patience is needed. As far as the oddball cartridge pieces, try gunbroker maybe? Or take them to an auctioneer, they will get sold. Likely for what they’re worth. Quite possibly more.

One day for sale here and no bites isn’t unusual. Some full pictures of the whole rifles and sights might help too. My thoughts are the prices are toward the high end, but I haven’t looked at what retail for these guns might be.

I wouldn't say .36 is an unpopular caliber necessarily. While it isn't a deer caliber, it is quite popular for squirrels and other small game. You are probably toward the high end on the standard Frontier, but not outrageously so if the right buyer comes along especially since it is a flintlock. Retail on the standard is around $800. The Deluxe Frontier is actually priced on the low end I would think. I can't find new prices on the small calibers, but the Deluxe in .45, .50, and .54 retail for $1620.

Of course, unfired will not bring as much as NIB with all the paperwork, etc. Nor will the small caliber guns sell as quickly as the .45 and up which will have wider appeal. They also may or may not bring as much. It just depends on whether someone just has to have a .36. I also agree with KS Jake, more pictures, especially full length would certainly help draw interest.

If I were you, I'd be patient. Not everybody checks the for sale ads every day, plus Christmas is coming, so one of these could become a great gift or someone may have some Christmas money burning a hole in his or her pocket in another month. If you dad has had these for years, you don't need to sell them in a couple of days, do you?
