This almost new pistol is waiting at my dealer’s for my paper work to arrive from the RegIstry.
But I’ve had my hot little hands on it and it’s in excellent condition.
Here’s a couple of not good photos that I took as the Sun was getting low.

After a close examination I couldn’t find how the barrel is held on, apart from the tang screw.
Anyone know?

Nice pistol. Not sure about that brand but all the KY pistols I've had had a screw or two in the brass nose cap holding the front of the barrel on. Never handled a Pedersoli though.

I have two in flint. The screw in the nose cap and the tang bolt are all that hold the barrel down, so I keep the loads kind of light. I am considering adding a barrel lug with a pin to strengthen the pistol and increase the loads. You tube has a video on another "fix" with pins added through the front of the nose cap and the stock. Probably being overly cautious. Good luck.

Are you going to make a holster for it ? I really like those hook back trigger profiles.
Actually with the screws that hold barrel to stock at opposite ends one could not get any better mechanical advantage to hold them together. I can't envision any need for a mid barrel lug and pin.
