Walnut half stock with checkered grip. Barrel 11" long 44 caliber smooth bore.

Single set-double phase trigger. Color casehardened lock, trigger guard, nosecap and entry thimble. I removed the lock and polished the surfaces of the mating moving parts. Spring pressure was reduced to proper levels for competition shooting. The lock primer pan area was increased for spark pick up. After tuning the pistol I took it out back of my shop and shot it eight times to confirm the flintlock operation. That is the only time it has been shot. I might also note I somehow misplaced the original wedge. I dug one out of my parts bin so the wedge is not original.

I purchased these pistols new about a year ago. My plan was to expand my shooting at Friendship from my open class pistols to also include the traditional classes of competition. Unfortunately, I developed a severe case of tennis elbow. I went through therapy and continue to do so and it is better now but I am still unable to hold up a pistol for more than a few seconds. On top of that, I have developed a tremor. My days of offhand pistol shooting are over. The joys of being in my late 70's, something tells me there is more to come.

My price is $590 delivered UPS in the lower 48.

Thank you for standing your ground. I regularly receive "low ball" offers on fine pieces. I don't know why some people think they can "steal" items for sale. Sad.

I'm not offended by people haggling on a price. Sometimes it is a starting point. Other times it is the end of a conversation and occasionally I bring home a bargain. I'm not offended either way whether I'm buying or selling.

Barry, I think your price is fair and wish I could afford your pistol.

Jake, I understand most people enjoy bargaining over a price. I am just not that way, I am very picky about what I buy and don't "invest" in something just to make a profit out of selling it. If I see something I like I will just ask if that is their best price, if it is too high I just move on. No problem. Everyone has their own way of doing things. I guess I am just not a "horse trader".

I did not intend to insult you by asking a price, i had a limited budget. I respect your decusion to stand firm.
My apologies.

Hey, No problem! We all have certain bounds that it is best to stay within. I just want anyone to understand I am firm on price. The fact is I will probably take it to Friendship with me to sell there. Good luck!

I often get people who desire to haggle or can't afford it and I often will reduce the price if they have something of value to trade as well well.
