Hi Do you guys know if the Pedersoli Charles Moore 36 cal pistols shoot ok, :idunno:

"Shoots O.K." is pretty vague and depends on what you think O.K. Is.

Most of the Pedersoli target pistol line has a good reputation for accuracy.

The most common complaint seems to be the fitting of the hooked breech.

Thanks Bill have a mad fit and got one today looks nice barrels good it just fitted in my hand so i had to have it.Regards Andy

Been overtaken by that malady myself on occasion. At least a pistol is easier to get past the keeper of the purse than a rifle would be.

I have one with two locks and barrels, tang not hook breeched. .44 smoothbore flintlock, and .45 rifled percussion.

I am not good enough at driving flint yet to swear its accuracy, but the percussion is madman - aim at, hit it.

Uh, you might care to read Pedersoli's own site, giving details of the many world championship competitions won by shooting this pistol in either flint or percussion.

Of course, it helps if the shooter is also good.....

Small World Chris i have family in Perth WA. Great set of photos thanks for the post
Regards from the UK Andy. :applause:

For awhile they put the wrong sights on the pistols, would shoot exactly 12" high at 25 yards.

You have to push them to replace the sights with the correct ones.

Thanks Richard the pistol is not a new one so with luck it should be ok not done the paper work yet we have to fill in a 4 page form and send it to the police then just sit and wait with Christmas on the way i think it will be the new year before i can get to shoot it.
