Pedersoli describes the barrel as "Chromed". Pedersoli also stones their barrels. Also known as lapping. This is a older model from when Pedersoli built their pistols with better quality wood. In my opinion, Pedersoli guns need tuning to be match worthy. The trigger and lock have been tuned by me the same as any of my match guns. Beautiful-and you obviously understand fine tuning.
I wish I had the $- but it would be wasted on my aged eyes and shaky hands.

30 yrs ago, I'd have pawned my work tools to get it.
