Does anyone know anything about this? Its a pedersoli flintlock, rifled, brass barrel, 44 caliber. With the brass barrel can I shoot it and what load? What is it worth. I'm probably going to sell it. I bought it at an auction by mistake. Thanks for any help!!

Does it have proof marks anywhere on the barrel? Generally these bronze barrels are safe; and in a pistol the lighter pistol loads should be fine.

Thank you HANSHI. Yes there are proof marks, and Pedersoli, caliber and so on on top the barrel. I didnt know if it was safe to fire being brass. I dont know what powder to use, make and grains. I believe it to be a collector's item. It comes with a nice box so I am assuming it is. I don't have a clue on the value. Thank you for replying.
