This sight is micro adjustable for windage and elevation. This comes on the target version of the Mortimer, Jaeger, and Whitworth.
125.00 shipped. Fund via USPS MO for my daughter's college fund. Thanks.

Good question. I know that original Scheutzen sights drop into a shaped hole that matches the stem.

If your UH is an older H&A action there should be a 1/4X28hole at the rear. The stem on the original H&A tang sight was not round. The width corresponded to the 1/4" hole and was threaded on the outside edges. If this stem is 1/4" and heavy enough you might do the Sam thing.

Well thank you for that info. Mine is a Blue Goose action with no threaded hole but that would be an easy fix.

If you drill your action;
Mount your barrel and lock the barreled action into your drill press vise. Level the barrel and it will automatically place your drill to drill 90* to your barrel on the sloped rear action surface. The 90* is critical.
