Selling a couple of flintlock guns, this one is a Pedersoli, 20ga, Trade gun. Excellent bore, good strong lock, sparks very well. I stripped off the ugly factory finish, and refinished with many coats of BLO. Walnut stock has some great color, and looks great.
I also added a J-B Weld stick on rear sight for round ball shooting, and it helped a bunch, but I’m sure it could be removed pretty easy.
Love this flintlock, but I cannot seem to shoot ANY flintlock offhand. I am ok off the bench, or with a rest of some sort, but I stink at offhand flintlock. I do not have this problem with percussion or conventional firearms. I flinch terribly!
Tried everything for the past few years, but at the age of 72, I don’t see it improving.
Asking $ 725.shipped East of the Mississippi, an extra $25. West of the big muddy. Or best reasonable offer
The other flintlock being sold is a Kibler, Woodsrunner, .54, cherry, same issue, I love this rifle, but I can’t shoot it!
