I'm reposting this item for sale after taking it down for a while. The forum shows me as a new member because I'm locked out of my old account after not logging in for several months. But I've bought and sold on here a few times over the years and, with the exception of being scammed once, it has always been a good experience.
This is a barely-used Pedersoli Trade Gun that I bought a few years ago. I'll post more photos and a video of me shooting it after I get this initial post up. I'm selling the entire kit, which includes the gun itself, a .600 round ball mould, some flints, jags and brushes. I had made a rear sight for it that uses the existing tang screw to hold in position. Ignition is reliable and the lock sparks very well. But I've never been able to dedicate the time to learning the flintlock. I notched the stock to help index the rear sight. Other than that, it's in great condition. The total package runs about $1500 new -- yours for $900 plus shipping. While I'm open to trades, I have most of my black powder needs met. But I'd consider some kind of full-stock .50 or larger percussion rifle or smoothbore. A .40 smooth would also be something I'd entertain. But cash is preferred.
In case you're worried about CA stuff, don't be. All muzzleloaders are not considered firearms by our state and I can ship by USPS anywhere it is legal for you to receive it.
