Hello, Bought a Pedersoli Tryon Creedmore .45 BP.

Butt dont now which bullet or bullet mould I should get.

Who cann help me ?

Jonnie from Holland

According to the Pedersoli catalogue, the Tryon Creedmoor, or S.229, has a 1:21 fast twist barrel, and uses .451 long (500 grain) bullet, mold 318-451.

The Match version which has the same barrel uses a .450 Minie (310 grains). (The Mortimer with the same fast twist barrel says both work).

Open sight versions in 45 caliber, the S.219 and S.224 with 1:48 twist use the .445 round ball and a 307-445 mold.

The difference between the 1:21 twist barrels and the 1:48 twist barrels is substantial. So I would recommend being absolutely sure what barrel you have before buying a mold.
