anyone know what choke numbers mean on the double?

right barrel is stamped 0 and mics at 0.71 ish

left barrel is stamped 4 and mics at 0.68 ish

any knowledge or thoughts appreciated.

I would tend to agree with camoloc. I have a Navy Arms .that I believe is choked full and full but is unmarked. It mikes around .675-.680 on both barrels. Measuring farther down the barrel also makes me think it is closer to .710 and is 13 gauge.

4 is Cylinder and 0 is full when it comes to dashes or stars, are you sure you listed the corresponding barrel correctly for each?

My bore measures around .717 so .710 would be around IC and .680 would be very full

relatively sure my postings are correct.

measurement taken from a digital electronic mic with repeated zeroing just to make sure I was not off.

either way, love the gun and will adjust variables accordingly.

just looking for real accounts amd experiences.

i was thinking felt more modified which I love........but maybe I'm just hopeful.

It is chrome lined.

Further the shot, you can also shoot round ball:

60 grs. of FFg. 614” round ball, .010” patch
70 grs. of FFg with 1 oz of shot #7

The numbers you may find inside the stock and also on some fo the metal parts, are made in the first metal to fitting works, then the parts are disassembled to continue their proper finish and when they go back to the assembly dept, the parts are matched

the left barrel is definitely Full and holds a nice pattern at 30 yards.

How did you load it - what was the loading....?

I patterned two different loads.

ended up liking

powder

card made from 6 pack cardboard

1 1/8 oz. of #6

card

1/2 of a 13 gauge wad with TOW mink and added little olive oil.

little craft containers I bought from Hobby Lobby were the cats meow for pre-measured shot and powder during the hunt. need to go back and buy more. the wife was a good caddy handing me things I needed too.
