Just got one. finished the Stock. Has a 21 date stamp so its apparent that they are making them. taking it to the range this weekend. I hear they are fun to shoot. Anyone else own one?
I have a LePage .45 cal. Mine was made by Armi Sport. I should shoot it more. It has a great trigger.

I have a Pedersoli Liege in a book, and an original, and haven't shot either one, yet.
I would like to see photos of someone shooting their pistol.
These are little in stature, and I want to make sure I do it right.

Hey John, Went to the range today. In spite of my best efforts I could not get it to print on cardboard at ten yards. it is I believe the recommended .451 round ball...not enough bite on seating the barrel. I examined the bore afterwards and saw no evidence of the "ball" biting the rifling. The bore was coated but otherwise undisturbed with multiple shots. I believe that it does not build up enough pressure. will go on the hunt for a .454 mould.

Thanks for the update.
I wonder, if you put a wad over the ball, and then screw on the barrel, would the wad bite the rifling enough to improve accuracy with the .451 balls? Maybe there are reasons not to do this, so it's just an idea.
I think I have .454 balls for my revolvers, so maybe I'll try that size, next time I go to the farm.
Did you use FFg or something else? Did you fill the chamber, or measure out a certain load?
Thanks,
Brazos

By the way, there's a cowboy shooter selling .454 balls on the SASS Classified forum right now. You don't have to be a SASS member to purchase things.
I thought the same thing about a patch. The problem is being able to screw it home without the threads inferring with the cloth. not sure on conventional front loading method
