percussion lock comparison

Does anyone have any information/experience/opinions on a comparison between the Davis "Goulcher" percussion lock and the L&R "Warrented" percussion lock? I'm thinking of a halfstock build using Pecatonica's Ohio stock (not the Vincent, the more rounded fish-bellied stock) to build a 45 cal. Ohio/Indiana/Illinois style rifle but with a flatter style buttplate, double set triggers, 13/16 by 32" barrel, and patent breech in walnut with German Silver furniture. Thanks for your thoughts.

It's so easy to make a good percussion lock compared to a good flintlock that I seldom worry a bit about who made it and go for style.
