PETA TRUE STORY

Several years ago, about 3 miles from the city I policed there was a mink rancher. He did a fine business raising pelt mink and employed several youngsters in the area giving them summer and winter jobs.
Well it seems a PETA group got into his unfenced farm ad let loose THOUSANDS of mink. The damage to the environment was aweful. Rabbits were nearly wiped out, a house cat outdoors was lunch (not so bad I guess) and mink were splattered on the roads for miles around.
Yessiree they did those mink a HUGE favor????? The rancher went under as the insurance company considered it an act of terrorism and he was not covered for that event.
The F.B.I. investigated and found no suspects but concluded unofficially it was PETA people.
PETA people have been showing up a bass tournaments throwing rocks in the water to scare the fish and generally raising havoc with bass fisherpersons.
They also ( in New Jersey I think) went out on public ground the night before the opening day of small game season and set out canned dog food with ground glass and poison in it.!
Nice people huh?
They also blackmail companies into donating money to the cause. If they don't "donate" PETA pickets whatever the business is and cause a media sitr, so the companies cave in and "donate".
A least Jessie James used a freaking gun when he robbed people!
PETA is a political group that makes HUGE money and donates considerable funds to liberal politicians.
Watch yer vote!

In the twin cities in Minnesota, they had a display that compared pigs going to slaughter to the jews going to gas chambers. They will implode over their own radicalism :shake:

They broke down a fense on one track of land that I hunt and cut down 6 stands that were on the logging road. They put PETA info around the area of the downed stand. A buddy of mine re-built his stand and put a game camera on the road. They can back and cut down his stand again. It was at night and the camera did it's job but they couldn't make out the tag number, just the make of the truck. It was at night and he disabled the flash as to not give the camera away.... the hunt continues!!!!

Here in Ontario it was the PETA people with the finnancial backing of the SHAD foundation that had the spring bear hunt cancelled . They used to go into the field and harass hunters and fishermen until the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters fired back with the voices of 140,000 members . A law was passed under the Fish and Game regulations that disallows anyone from interferring with lawfull hunting and fishing . Southern Ontario is very liberal with a liberal judicial system so those caught interferring usually face a $250.00 fine . Northern and Northwestern Ontario is like a different world . Not much interference from the PETA people up here as they'd stand a good chance of getting shot on some logging road and in the very few instances where charges have been layed the fines are usually $1,500.00 and up .

Well, their mindset is that the world would be better off without mankind. Ummmm...except themselves, for sure. Me and you are just too stupid to understand that the PETAS are so much superior and therefore the salvage of the Universe

You can put them in the same category as the Sierra Club, the Brady Bunch, The Feinsteins, Boxers, Schumers, Kennedys, and Clintons. It's all about ruling and controlling the mud-stained serfs. ELITISM. Period. :imo:

Went to a Rendezvous a few years ago don't want to say where or when, but some animal rights people showed up and used spray paint on some of the furs a trader had. They decided to pay for the furs so they could get home and get the paint out of their hair cloths and faces before it got to set. You could tell who they were as they drove away by the neat signs that had been painted on there cars. Things like animal nut, squirrel kisser and some thing I can't post here. It was a shinning day.

What is so hard to understand? Game animals and fur bearers are renewable natural resources that can be managed for the betterment of all, including the animals!
I wonder how much money PETA spent to reintroduce deer and wild turkeys to area that didn't ahve any?
Wonder how much effort they put into stocking trout, walleye and bass into lakes and rivers?
It's US that pays for all of this.

 

I've heard some of these enviro-wackos go into forests that are due to be logged and pound nails into the standing timber. When its taken down and run through a mill, not only do the metal fragments damage the saw blades, they also turn into pieces of shrapnel which can injure the mill hands.

There are legitimate concerns regarding the environment and legitimate concerns regarding animal cruelty, but these fringe organizations are exactly what another poster stated:

I went to the PETA web site a few years ago and gave them my name and address. They were nice enough to send me some return address labels with their PETA logo on them. I use one every year when I send in my deer tag application. :blah: :blah: :blah:
